PREWRITE #
1) I am good at karate.
2) I feel relazed all of my muscles are being stretched.
3) I would feel angry if I didn`t do karate.It is not all about fighting and trying to show off.It is about discipline and respect .
4)emily and jocelyne and madelyne are my best friends!!
OCTOBER 3,2006
1) Tao has no friends they all think he is a weird boy with a bad leg.
He forgot the rabbit in the meadow so Volt told him to go back and get the rabbit.
2) I predict that tao will make a new animal friend.
I predict that he will not find the rabbit but his new animal friend will help him finfd another rabbit.
OCTOBER 5,2006
1) They learn how to hunt better than doing it all by themselves.
2) Tao told volt that the tribe would have more food if they brought into their tribe wolf dogs.
3) Right now I feel very angry .Tao shouldn`t have questioned my reason .He knows that having
wolf dogs in the tribe is a curse.They also bring bad spirits to the tribe.If he wants the wolf dogs to help us hunt
he can go live with the mountain people.

There once was a girl who was a wonderful actress. When she was a little girl she always dreamed
of having a family of her own and becoming an actress. She wanted to go to college
but her parents think it is a waste of time.Her parents think that she will never have any time
for her family.Sometimes she would send applications to university`s . Somehow her parents found
and if she was accepted they would shred it up.She got very tired of listening to her parents so she moved out
and went to college.She always new that her parents were wrong she had a husband and had three kids.
Now she is an actress and she is proud of what she did.

I think he changed his mind because he feels sorry for Tao .He knows that Tao will never
be a cave painter.Or maybe he wants Tao to take over his job because he is old and
sick.That`s why graybeard changed his mind.

I think graybeard is a good teacher because even though he doesn`t show you he tells you.
Even though he is bossy he is still a great teacher.Yes I would like graybeard to be my teacher
because he knows that helping people who were not born from a leader cannot draw.
That is why I would like graybeard to be my teacher.

In India there is a lot of mountains. One of the most famous mountains is the Himalayas. It’s known for being the highest mountain system.
The Himalaya Mountains are young mountains. Earthquakes have broken up the Himalaya Mountains. Also when the river overflows with water the snow melts away. The word Himalaya comes from the word meaning “House Of Snow.” Many years ago the Himalayas were very important to china because it was a barrier to China. The climate is very dangerous because the climate can be very unpredictable, so there is no telling how cold it can get. Most of the times the temperatures drop to below freezing. The cold weather lasts through October and February. When you try to climb the Himalaya Mountains you are putting yourself at risk. Many bad things can happen to you. Like you start to have trouble breathing and then you stop breathing. Then all of a sudden you just stop breathing. After that slowly you begin suffer brain damage it’s pretty unlikely that you’ll make it to the hospital. Another way that the climate can change is when you climb higher you can feel the difference in the climate.The tallest peaks in the Himalayas are mostly covered in snow. The Himalayas have ten of the highest peaks. It is also about 8,850 m. in altitude. In conclusion, the Himalayas seem really bad from what you just heard, but to china it was a lifesaver.
